[Feb. 26th, 2008|10:04 pm] |
Well after what is to much of a long time, I have moved out. Something that should've happened a couple years go. Carrie, James, and myself are living in an apartment townhouse now. Haven't finished getting all my things out yet. Still need to get some furniture and a living room tv. But it's working out really nicely so far.
Boffing season starts out this weekend, hopefully people show up to fight.
Replaced a headlight today after seeing it went out this mourning. Much easier than I anticipated, but I over corrected with a screw so it looks kidna cock-eyed.
Just about all my car part have arrived. I've recived my exterior rear view mirror, my header panel, and just today, my front bumper assembly. Guess I should take my stuff down to the car place and see when I can get stuff put on it. |

| | surprised | ] | Things at work have been shaken up these past 3 weeks or so. Ronnie, my boss, the guy who hired me on and stuff was fired and so was our newest hire Charles. Charles had only been working there for 5 months, while Ronnie had been working for the Simpson company for 20 years. I understand why Charles was fired too I guess, he was the lowest on the totem pole of senority. Work is slow, so there he goes. But as for Ronnie... I still don't know what really happened. From the sounds of it, he was imbezzeling some money from the sales of our scrap-metal, hired his g/f on as our janitor. I never even knew we had a janitorial person to clean stuff. So essentially she was doing nothing and making cash for it.
Oh and today I found out that our painter guy, Radion, died just last nite in a car wreck.
The apartment search seems to have a lead now. With luck we'll be getting a townhouse though, but that's a little nicer. No need to worry about people above us making noises, just the next door neighbors. It'll be nice if this decides to pan out for us though.
Crashed my car into some mailboxes over at Matt's neighborhood. Distraced by playing with my radio. Now in the search for parts for my car. Seems to be going somewhat well though. Blargh. |

My tickets for the Ministry show came! Yeah! It's all the way in March, but yeah! Also am going to get a VIP thing for the Charlie Drown concert a little later this month.
The snow was ok I guess. Spent the weekend at Matt's house and I didn't have to drive around in the stuff to much. Just once to go get some Arby's for us all to eat.
My half gallon of Crown is now depleted, lasted a nice long time though. |

| | Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People | ] | My broken car has now been returned to me. Cost a nice amount of cash to fix it, but ah well, least it's working again. My front driver's side Tie rod just fell off as I was leaving work on Saturday. Heard a loud scraping underneath my car, looked, and saw that. Fuck. Called my insurance and was able to get a tow truck to come and get me. Dude got lost trying to find me, so I ended up waiting almost 2 hours before getting towed.
They gave me new Tie Rod ends (left-Outer) 4 brand new tires which I really needed New Idler arms and pitman arms (front-right) Radiator System flush with new antifreeze Alignment Service A rubber valve fix since it was leaking coolant
Parts: $406.97 Labor $374.38 Shop Supplies: $20.30 Sub-Total: $801.65 Tax: $70.99 Grand Total: $872.64
Fun!
But on a good note, I finally won a kick ass repirator on ebay from this one guy. He gave me a second chance offer since he had a similar looking one already made. Which is great. So bought that and am still wondering how my mono-goggle bidding is going to go towards the end here... hope to win that too. |

Found out the most incredibly great news the other day at work. The Simpson Strong-Tie location in California is going on strike on Wednesday. Only the office people are staying, all the warehouse workers are walking off the job so they can try and obtain more money. I could make them all shut up by showing them my paycheck seeing as I'm probably the lowest paid employee in the company. I do seriously think that would bring an end to everything. So with this strike, our Kent location will be receiving a bunch of their work. It's a good and bad thing, really. Good because it's work to do, bad because that just means longer days of said work.
TOOL IS COMING BACK!!
They're playing in Everett at the Comcast Areana at Everett Events Center on Tuesday, December 4 2007. :: ) |

| And So It Begins |
[Oct. 1st, 2007|10:09 pm] |
My self imposed isolation from the Noc-Noc. When I do go back in November, it'll be pretty funny to see if anyone realized I was gone. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if nobody did. But hey, that's how things go.
Tomorrow Carrie and I are going to go down and get her the newest Zelda game at Circuit City for a change. They're giving away a packet that has earphones with Link's head on them while Game Stop isn't giving away anything with it. Cancelled my pre-order yesterday and put that money towards Hellgate: London.
And maybe this month I'll get myself a new digital camera. That'd be nice. |

It's been about 2 weeks now since Chuck quit at Simpson. Kinda sucked when he did, since he was really the only work 'friend' that I had. Really the only guy I talked to a bunch. But hey, he left for a much better deal. Same insurance benefits, $7 more an hour and a $3k signing bonus. He ended up getting a job for Boeing and well, hopefully that'll work out nicely for him.
Planning on going to the Mercury this Friday if no work is required of me on Saturday. Haven't been there in a couple weeks.
Saturday should be fun. Myself, Roz, Matt, Tess, and Elfie are going to see RE: Extinction, then I'll pick up Carrie and we'll go back to Matt's and drink. Debating between using some of my coupons for Arby's sandwiches or just doing to Domino's pizza and getting a couple pizzas that are larger and already cooked for us...
Put down a pre-order for Hellgate London Collector's edition that comes with a bunch of extra stuff. One of the extra objects you get is an in game pet called a Mantawraith. It's a funny idea, I think. But a nice one too. James told me Gamestop's getting beta's of the game and he'll try to secure me one. So I'll be able to play it and see what it's all about.
Staying away from the Noc for about a month or so. I'll be back up there probably the first week of November. Stupid stupid shit. Oh how I'll miss those delicious giant bloody marys. |

| | Lordi - Chainsaw Buffet | ] | After a couple weeks of trying the planets aligned and things worked out. Was able to get everyone together at Matt's house and have some nice drunken times with Matt, Tess, myself, Carrie and Roz. It was my third nite in a row being nicely intoximacated. James was even able to come too, but as the mourning proved, he probably should've stayed put at his house or maybe just not drank alcohol mixed with another alcohol.
Tried watching a couple movies, like Beer League, Lock Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels, and The Descent. I was the only person paying attention to The Descent. Nobody could figure out how I could pay attention to it while being drunk. I love that movie. And think everyone should see it. It's good stuff. Polished off quite a bit of booze too. Matt's living room table was all nicely crammed with bottles and cans and when we made it, pizza.
The first pizza we made, we forgot to take the cardboard out from underneath it thusly it was doughy, but edible, the second pizza we totally lost track of time and forgot about it. Until Matt looked at me and said "oh shit, the pizza!" Took it out and it was pretty burnt, but still pretty delicious to our drunken selves. The cheese and bottom crust became room temperature kinda fast, but after biting into it, the sauce underneath the toppings was really warm, so that helped. Our third attempt turned out great. Perfect really. So maybe third time really is the charm, and well, not being hammered.
Everyone slept inside, but I went outside earlier and got comfy on the trampoline. And that's where I stayed. Carrie brought a pillow and blanket since she thought I'd get hypothermia or something. Sleeping on the trampoline was like sleeping on a really strange water-bed.
Watched some more movies in the mourn. A Godzilla one, Texas Chainsaw Massacre parts 2 and 4, and some comedy central stuff. James was puking a lot and decided to call in sick to work because he wasn't getting any better. But apparently later in the day at his house he recovered nicely. And hopefully he won't get into trouble tomorrow for it since they probably know why he was 'sick'. |

[Jul. 29th, 2007|10:21 pm] |
| [ | music |
| | Marilyn Manson - Fight Song | ] | It seemed everyone in Seattle was out looking to beat some ass last nite. Started when I began my journey to Studio 7 to see Bell's Theorem play. This buff tattooed guy came out of a place screaming shit at a dude with a cane. Cane guy was walking away, and tattooed guy shoved him from behind. Cane guy in turn raised his cane as if to smack tattooed guy in the head with it. They went around a corner and I heard the sound of a punch and after rounding the corner, saw cane guy laying down with tattooed guy walking away screaming more shit and for cane guy to get the fuck out of the street.
The show was alright. Sat outside talking to Roz and listened to the other bands play. The first couple sounded pretty good to me. I walked inside for one of them, but as soon as I did, they finished their song and were done. Got a couple drinks, then went back out. Walked with Roz up to the gas station so she could buy smokes. Saw Michael and Rian too. Was kinda surprised to see them there. Eventually met up with Kelsey and her boyfriend. Nick came running out to our group and told us they were playing now, so we ran in to watch. It was kind sad though, it's his last show with them since he got kicked out, and Roz, myself, Michael, Rian, and some other chick, were the only ones really into the tunage. Other people were in there, they were just standing around though. The lead singer was telling the people in the back to come up too, and I heard a some of them say "no way".
So after they finished up, we left for the Noc-Noc, 'cept for Roz, who now has a key to Musicwerks, she went there to get drunk and pass out since Eryc was working at the Mercury and wouldn't be off unti 4am. Ended up waiting at the bus stop for a long long long time. I got bored and irritated at that, so I started walking to the Spokane street bus stops. Caught a bus, got off a while later thanks to re-routed traffic because of the parade. A short distance from the Noc, a huge group of black chicks were screaming shit at each other and looked ready to just start brawling. Kinda funny because of the massive police presence everywhere at that time. Saw Michael and Rian getting there at the same time I did and watched as they left.
James was really drunk and floppy and attacking Carrie a bunch. Pretty funny to watch though. Sucked for Carrie though because her stomach was all upset from the booze she'd drank. I apologized to Steel, Jayde, Emily and that other hot chick for being all out of my skull during what I have dubbed 'Sex Fest 2007'. Everyone was fine with me and said it was all ok. That was nice.
And on our walk to my car, this guy in a truck saw us, said "I'll kill you , you stupid fags" We had our "fuck yous" He pulled up saying "I'll kick your ass" To which I replied "bring it you stupid cocksucker" and it looked like he was going to get out of his car, but he couldn't because there was another car behind him at the stop light. I've just had it. Some one really wants to throw down, let's just do it. Vague threats suck and are generally annoying. Fucking people. |

| | Tool - Third Eye (live- Salival) | ] | Yeah. Last Saturday Chetty told the story of me and how I was walking like a marionette at the Merc last Friday. Guess I was walking around grabbing stools and chairs trying to keep myself steady before sitting in the stools that are at a table in front of the back bar. I also know of a hidden "talent" that I seem to have developed. Passing out while still looking like I'm awake. Chetty also said that I passed out in that very same place for around 2 1/2 hours and nobody did anything. No bouncer or bartenders woke me up and told me to leave, no other patrons talked to me. I rule.
Last Saturday was also Chetty's roomate's birthday. I sent him into far-to-fucked-up-ville when I ordered him and myself a double shot of Jager. He seemed pretty well off before hand, but when I saw him a little while later, he was half dying outside of the Noc's drinking area. Turned out to be a good thing that I drove up there, because I gave everyone a ride home. Myself, Carrie, James, Chetty, his roomie, his roomie's girlfriend, and Chetty's friend. 7 people can fit in my land yacht. It's a bit of a tight fit up front, but it works. |

| | Tool - Ticks & Leeches | ] | My last day off was merely ok. If even that. Slept my ass in for a bit, and eventually ended up going to Carrie's. Went down to Best buy and used one of my 'motivation' coupons that I receive every so often. After wandering the cd isle for a bit, I picked up Primus - Frizzle Fry, Meshuggah - Nothing, and RHCP - Stadium Arcadium. This is where things just went to hell and haven't come back. She found a game that she's tried to find, but no place has had it. I told her to go ahead and buy it, begrudgingly she did so. Came back and said how I could've bought it to earn myself points from Best Buy. Well you see, I didn't even think along those lines.
We got back to her place and she said pretty much absolutely nothing to me after. Hey, fine. Made her a burger, and then I left.
Finally did get myself another 24 wireds from Cash and Carry though. It was nice they were open today for me. |

| Mastodon! |
[May. 6th, 2007|09:40 pm] |
So, after multiple times of missing Mastodon, I finally was able to catch them. Good show, very good show. Christina, Kyle, myself, and Carrie all went in my car. Stood around outside just talking and drinking my 'giant Jager-bombs' in the parking lot behind the Fenix. These people with dreadlocks walked by a couple times. The second time one of the chicks asked me if I was done with my sobe bottle, which I was, so I gave it to her, and they went off to do whatever it is they were going ot do with it.
Eventually we went in. Didn't much care about any of the other bands playing really. Pretty much missed them all except the band that I was guessing was Cursive... Ordered 3 Irish car bombs, and a sex on the beach for Carrie and 2 orders of garlic fries. We feasted upon the fries and since there were more than I thought were going to be there, I shared with these other 3 drunkish guys at our table. Then after the Cursive was done, I skirted off to get to the front, which I managed to do with oddly relative ease. Right up to the barrier. Turned around and eventually saw Carrie and Christina looking around. Was waving to them, and trying shout at them. Eventually they saw me and joined me. Should've held on to Christina's camera and taken pictures of Mastodon. Took a couple of the drum set since it had Randy Rhodes on it. The it was relatively calm up front. Surprisingly calm really. It seemed that quite a few people actually left. Received a couple kicks to the face from crowd surfers, but thanks to the strap I put onto my glasses, no harm done!
Was handed Mastodon's set list after all was said and done, very nice.
After the show I saw Carrie outside since she took my keys and retreated because of her drunken state and the squishing. Eventually met up with Kyle and Christina too. The 3 of us got stuff signed. I was able to get my set list signed by 3 of the 4 guys of Mastodon. Know I got the drummer, a guitarist(or bassist) and vocalist's, that's what I get for them being a band that's a new discovery for me. Kinda hate not knowing who is who in a band, makes me feel pretty stupid. But that's alright this time, Christina was pointing out who the guys were as they came out.
Next up, Otep and Static-X at the Showbox next month, yes! |

| | Tool - H | ] | Couple weeks ago Carrie and I went to the Moonraker for the bellydance thing. After getting lost Christina and her friend arrived to join us. I'll just go ahead and say it, seeing as this isn't highschool anymore, Christina's friend, whose name I cannot remember, is pretty cute. There I said it, happy? The shirt she was wearing was pretty cool too, a nice black t-shirt with an interesting skull pattern on it. Out tables hostess kept asking us how the food was. Even ended up asking me if the burger I ordered was burnt and unedible. Told her how I was just taking my time eating it though. There was some slight burnage, but it was the type of burnage that made the meat still taste good.
Friday the 13th. Another one of those days associated with various accouts of mysticism and the like. I, all my my lonesome self, went to the Merc/Blacklight on Friday. Needless to say it was slightly strange. But what else is to be expected from that day. Did the usual pre-drinking with Eryc and Roz in my car before hand though. Picked up some Maker's Mark whiskey this time (wich I've just finished off). Made Eryc happy. I just sat up front in the driver's seat making random comments about stuff while Roz and Eryc made out bunch in my back seat. That was interesting I guess, lucky for him though. Then around 8:46ish it was off to the Merc. Of course we got there and they weren't open yet, but it didn't take them long to open up. Roz was surprised that I was kinda drunk already even after eating a piece and a half of the 18" pizza I bought earlier. Had to tell her to be quiet about that whole fact. Ha!
Finished off a couple delicous Black Orchids *aka Black Opals* Sat/stood around for a while, then went to the Blacklight and had a nice spicey Bloody Mary. Was despirately waiting for the advertised fetish show to start, but after an hour I left, heading back to the Merc. Now this is when the strangeness began.
Decided to check my coat and hat at the Merc and after a while of standing and walking around I was approached. The approaching happened while I was standing on the side of the dance floor just kinda observing and watching people do their thing. This blonde chick with what I would guess had what were probably brunette darkenings came up to me and said "I like dancing with people I barely know". Heh, barely know? I'd never seen this chick before. But, I took up her offer of the whole dancing. 10 seconds or so it lasted with her. It was the nice type of up close and grinding dancing that just feels nice. Then she bounced away to some other guy. She did "dance" with me a couple other times though, then bounced around each time.
Maybe I'm a fucking retard, but it made me feel nice that another chick was willing to tolerate my shitty ass dancing even though she was probably in another state of mind as well as myself. Need to teach myself how to not to feel so extra special just because some random person approaches me for a stupid ass dance. Later on almost towards closing time I was talking with the coat check chick after getting my coat. She asked me if I wanted to touch her breasts. She was one of those chicks who went without a shirt & bra and had electrical tape covering the nipples. I, of course touched her breasts after asking "you sure?" she said yes and I touched them. Not only were her breasts nice, but her attitude about them was really cool as well. She said "you could touch my breasts, my elbows, it's all the same, flesh is flesh." Dunno, but there need to be more chicks that have that type of attitude about thier bodies. Becuase ya now what, I know for a fact if I walked up to any of the other girls that was there with their tops off and tape on their nipples, (of which there were a couple more)and asked to touch their breasts, I'd get reported to the bouncers and kicked which would suck. That to me is the greatest attitude a woman could ever have about breast touching ever. Stayed until the last song then went home after 'goodnite'.
May your freezer be filled with a great many otterpops. |

| | Static-X - Pushit | ] | Helped James move on Sunday. Must say it's the easiest move I've ever helped anyone with. Him and his dad got kicked out of their old place because of the mold growing in their bathroom and festering in their floor. Carrie, myself, and Roz arrived late, but everyone seemed ok with it. Didn't take to long. We left, but then ended up turning around to help finish moving some dishes over afterwards the four of us went to see '300'.
Bad ass fucking movie. And hell yes, I will be purchasing this when it comes out! That creature with the bladed hands was pretty cool, kinda a shame he wasn't put into action though. Guess his job was just to decapitate people. Looking on Ebay right now for anything interesting from the movie for shits and giggles. Just tons of posters, shirts, mousepads. No real apparent things from the film its self.
Roz got some fucking bad ass chainmail things for her birthday from a friend. They're really nice, but she doesn't know where they came from. I love chainmail stuff... I need some.
Fuck all those cocksuckers for selling out the Mastodon show at El Corazon. Bastards, all of you. |

[Feb. 26th, 2007|10:00 pm] |
Yeah. The spinal column that I purchased from the Bodies exhibit is now just a warped looking spine. Looks pretty funny too.
So an idea came to my mind a few days ago about what to do with my hair if Carrie and I go out to the Merc this week. Kinda want the left side of my hair either tied off or braided off into a few sections while the right side stays normal. Don't know why, but I'm entertaining the idea. Will it look kind of stupid, maybe, but there's no harm in at least seeing how it will look. Just call me crazy I guess. |

| | Soulfly - Back to The Primitive | ] | So I complained about my foot and how it was going through some pretty bad pains. Mom looked at it and mentioned that it was a bit crooked. I also noticed how my toes were overlapping one another. Was brought to the hospital and a doctor eventually saw me and recommended immediate surgery. They took a "special" x-ray of my body that outlined my nerves. Funny thing is that they didn't make me drink any radioactive dye or anything. Just layed me down on the table and scanned away. The doctors printed out my life-sized scan and set it on another table with a bright light underneath it. They then proceeded to place my body directly over it, making sure to line up my crooked foot with my scanned foot.
I was injected with some type of paralytic agent. Calming words came from everyone of how I would be ok, and that I should stay calm as the agent took effect. A screen probably not much larger than a rear-view mirror was aligned with my eyes and a camera was aimed at my crooked foot. The screen blinked on and I was looking at my foot being prepared for surgery as they sanitized it and such. The lead surgeon told me there would be no pain during the operation. Not long after that I turned my eyes up at the screen and watched as he slid his scalpel down from my big toe to my heel and spread the skin with his fingers. Blood and a very unusual substance poured out immediately after that. The substance was thick and whitish in colour. As this substance stayed out on the table, it began to turn brown, then black. In a matter of minutes my foot was straitened out, toes placed in their natural positions, I was sewn up and released. Never was told anything about what came out of me or even what was done with it. But I assume it was studied, cataloged, then cremated. Perhaps they saved a specimen or two for further study at a later time.
This was just a dream I had Thursday nite :: ) |

| | curious | ] | So yesterday I'm at work driving the forklift getting ready to deliver some pieces to the paint line, when my boss comes up to me and asks if I've seen the writing on my car. My first thoughts are that this writing is going to be in some permanent form. I jump off and go to look at my car. Someone wrote "fucker" on my trunk, and "my ass" to the right of my trunk's keyhole. Luckily enough for me, they only wrote it with their fingers in the iciness that had accumulated on the car. Pretty confusing really. Didn't see it in the mourn when I was scraping ice off my windows, or when I threw some garbage away. So either someone came up and wrote what they did while it was down at my work, or they wrote it while my car was parked by my house. |

| Dead Bodies Everywhere |
[Jan. 27th, 2007|03:24 pm] |
| [ | music |
| | Otep - My Confession | ] | Finally got around to checking out the Bodies Exhibition yesterday. Been putting it off for a bit now. Seeing all the bits and pieces that come together and form the human body is quite fascinating. Might not know a ton about physiology and such, but I know a little and that helped when reading the information on the papers next to the specimens. Found it amusing that one of the people they had on display was given what I called 'butt wings'. Just the way they splayed out his gluteus maximus to the sides was kinda funny.
The beginning portion had hands and feet in different stages of dissection showing off the various muscles and how they do what they do for us. Probably the coolest part the entire thing was around the circulatory and cardiovascular area. They put special coloured dyes inside the veins and arteries, and chemically remove the tissues after they've hardened. Some of the organs were, well... pretty. There I said it. Like something I wouldn't mind having displayed on my wall in my room. While we were in the infant section Carrie said some some lady who was looking at a fetus during one of the weeks of development made a snyde comment wondering how they got it in the first place. In the end, I bought myself a spinal column key ring and Carrie and heart one. If you haven't seen the exhibit, I'd say go. Go forth and marvel at the human anatomy.
Last nite was also Merc/Blacklight nite. Did the usual pre-Merc drinking with Eryc in Musicwerks. Just sat around for the most part. Played a game of pool with Eryc and lost pretty bad. Blah, maybe I'll do better next time. So after a while, a bunch of us headed over to the Blacklight. This was my first time in there because of the whole ID debacle of last week. I enjoyed it. Carrie and Eryc were saying how they had furnished the place with more tables and chairs and that made it much better for them. Watched some of the go-go dancers do their thing.
And it happened again. I was taken for quite the fool. Felt pretty stupid about it, but I just need to learn to lighten up about stuff like that. It's funny. All I'll say is that guy makes a good chick. And according to Eryc, I need to get out more.
Then it was back to the Merc again. Started coming down hard on myself for what I can't do and how I seem to generally suck at many a thing. I apologize to all who had to listen to my self pitying bitching and moaning. Need to keep things to myself. Blargh.
Even with my being drunken, I remembered to get that Cradle of Filth poster off of the pole! And I did a pretty nice job of getting it too. |
